畳の部屋に設置することを想定して作られたベッド。視点の低い位置で過ごすことを想定して作られている畳の空間に設置するベッドの形を模索してたどり着いた形。タイトルの通り、極力床面に近い高さのベッドとなっている。通常のベッドよりも宙に浮いてる感覚が得られる面白さがある。
A bed designed to be installed in a tatami room. The shape was arrived at by seeking a form of bed to be installed in a tatami room, which is designed to spend time at a low point of view. As the title suggests, the bed is as close to the floor level as possible. It is more interesting than ordinary beds because it gives the sensation of floating in the air.
