これも治具（じぐ）のひとつである。
治具（じぐ）とはある特定のものを加工する際に作業位置をガイドする役割として作られる道具。
スタンド型のジュエリー用の什器を製作するために用意された。丸棒の小口に対して一定の位置にねじ込みダボを取り付けることができる。これも什器完成後にその役割を終えた。
この中央の開口部に水の入れられる円柱状のガラスを入れ、花入れに見立てた。
ジュエリーを下支えするために働いたあとは、花の開花を見守る役割を担うのだ。
側面の手描きの図形は正面位置を示すための記号で、残りの３面の記号は蛇足で記されたものである。つまり落書きであり、意味はない。まれに古い家屋の軒裏から当時の大工による落書きが発見されることがあるが、感覚はこれに近い。表に出ない製作者の命の飛沫である。

A jig is a tool made to guide the working position when processing a particular object.
This jig was prepared for the production of stand-type jewelry fixtures. A screwed dowel can be attached at a certain position to the small end of a round bar. This also completed its role after the fixture was completed.
A cylindrical glass into which water could be filled was placed in this central opening to resemble a flower vase.
After working to support the jewelry, it would then play the role of watching over the blooming of the flowers.
The hand-painted figures on the sides are symbols to indicate the frontal position, and the symbols on the remaining three sides are serpentine inscriptions. In other words, they are graffiti and have no meaning. In rare cases, graffiti by carpenters of the time is found behind the eaves of old houses, and the feeling is similar to this. It is a splash of the maker’s life that does not appear on the surface.
